- Latest ATI6000Controller has a reference to AMDRadeonAccelerator.
- In Lion this reference is to AtiRadeonAccelerator
- Instructions:
- 1)Update To 10.8.2 Mountain Lion ( I can confirm that this works on this version, maybe it works for previous ML versions or later , if it does inform me)
- 2)Install With Kext Helper Both ATI6000Controller And AMDRadeonAccelerator
- 3)Reboot ( Make sure that GraphicsEnabler=Yes )
- How I Edited This Kext Files (For Manual Editing):
- 1) I added entry for the vendor of 6790 Graphics Card on ATI6000Controller Info.plist . Under the IOPCIMatch (inside string tags ) I added 0x673e1002 .
- 2) I found that codename of 67xx series is Barts. So inside AMDRadeonAccelerator in the info.plist I added the vendor(0x673e1002) under AMDBartsGraphicsAccelerator on the IOPCIMatch string.
- I wrote description about manual editing because it might help someone in future osx releases. You can see the changes inside the provided files
